Mathematics (1 hour 20 minutes)

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time for searching and seating
- All morning sessions begin promptly at 8:30 AM
- Candidates arriving more than 30 minutes late may not be allowed to sit the paper except in exceptional circumstances
- Verify that your name and assessment number are correctly written on your answer sheet
- Check that all pages of your question paper are properly printed before starting
- No extra time will be allowed beyond the stated duration for each paper
⚠️ Strictly Prohibited
- Cell phones or any electronic communication devices – Results will be cancelled if found in possession
- No books, notes, or unauthorized materials allowed in the examination room
- No communication between candidates or with outsiders during the assessment
- Leaving the examination room before time expires without supervisor permission
- Taking question papers or answer sheets out of the examination room
PENALTY FOR IRREGULARITIES: Any candidate who commits an assessment irregularity will have results for the ENTIRE SUBJECT cancelled. Cases of impersonation, cheating, or possession of unauthorized materials will result in criminal penalties as per KNEC Act No. 29 of 2012.
