Bekamo School has posted an impressive performance in the 2025 Grade 9 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), reaffirming its commitment to quality education under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

A total of 72 learners from Bekamo School sat for the national assessment, and the results reflect focused instruction, consistent learner support, and a strong academic culture.

The highest total score achieved was 70 points, while the cohort recorded an average score of 58.4 points. These results place the majority of learners comfortably within the upper CBC performance bands, signaling strong mastery of key competencies.

  • EE2 (Exceeding Expectations 2): 31 learners
  • ME1 (Meeting Expectations 1): 24 learners

  • AE1 & AE2 (Approaching Expectations): 6 learners combined
  • BE1 (Below Expectations): 1 learner

Notably, over two-thirds of the learners achieved “Meeting” or “Exceeding Expectations”, a strong indicator of effective teaching and learner preparedness.

Learners demonstrated balanced performance across all learning areas, including English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Agriculture, Social Studies, CRE, Creative Arts, and Pre-Technical Studies.
